Elliot S. Kay has effectively represented thousands of clients charged with crimes in New York. His success, which includes NOT GUILTY verdicts in 21 of his most recent 25 trials along with one jury that could not reach a unanimous verdict, is the result of hard-work, dedication, courtroom advocacy skills and experience.

Attorney Kay graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Criminal Justice. After college, he graduated with honors from Pace University School of Law. At his graduation ceremony, he was the sole recipient of the Carl A. Vergari, Excellence in Criminal Law Award.

Prior to opening his law offices, Elliot S. Kay practiced law at the Criminal Defense Division of the Legal Aid Society. There, he won nearly every felony jury trial that he litigated.

Since opening his law offices, Elliot S. Kay has continued to successfully defend his clients. He has received NOT GUILTY verdicts and outright DISMISSALS in cases involving shootings, stabbings, DWI’ssex crimes, forgeries, drug sales, bank robberiespossession of guns, contempt of court, domestic violence and various other felony and misdemeanor cases.

Elliot S. Kay has a diploma from the National Institute For Trial Advocacy. He is also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the New York State Bar Association, the Bronx Bar Association and the New York County Lawyer’s Association.

He is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
